Our story began in 2021 as many a modern, 21st century romance does... on a dating app. For our first date we met for a cup of coffee at The Sippin' Siren in Hilo, and got so caught up in talking about food the date rolled into lunch...and then a walk through the park...and before we knew it we had spent over five hours together.

In the following weeks we discovered our mutual interests in cooking, baking, and craft cocktails (oh, what an understatement!), traveling, and Halloween. The jury is out on who officially said it first, but by 6 months in, we knew it was love. Amanda has delighted in introducing Jeremy to the nerd world of birds and games (which he has taken to spectacularly), and Jeremy has enjoyed showing Amanda new techniques in the kitchen (and she has become quite the sous chef herself). 

Since that first year together we have hosted the most fantastic Halloween parties and our story came full circle Halloween 2024 when Jeremy proposed at The Sippin' Siren. Halloween 2025 is certain to be our most enchanting party yet, and we can't wait to celebrate our union with all of you! 

We plan on traveling the world together, tasting all the cuisines and documenting all the birds, riding the tallest rollercoasters and laying on the most beautiful beaches, visiting the grandest museums and watching the most dramatic thespians perform, and loving one another all the while, till death & ever after.
